The rising rap star, Pop smoke was fatally shot and killed in his home in Hollywood Hills, California. Two men broke into his home where he was inside and shot and killed him. He was only 20 years old. Named Bashar Barakah Jackson was an upcoming Hip Hop artist from Brooklyn, New York. Los Angeles police have confirmed to the Daily News that a 20-year-old black male was found fatally shot after an unknown number of masked men entered the home of Bashar around 4:29 am this Wednesday, February 19. They did not confirm the victim's identity. He was pronounced dead after being transported to the nearest hospital. It is unclear if this was a robbery police stated, or if someone was already in the home. It is also unknown if the shooters had a personal connection with Bashar.
