Stacy Abrams is letting the world know that she is ready and determined to serve this country as Vice President. In a profile for ELLE, this Georgia Democrat said she would accept Joe Biden’s offer to be his running mate. She said, “Yes. I would be honored.” Biden, now the only democratic nominee, has stated he wants a woman to be his V.P during a debate and now he has her. Stacy explained why she is the best candidate for the job. She stated, “I would be an excellent running mate. I can attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities. I have a strong history of executive and management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors,” she explained.“I’ve spent 25 years in an independent study of foreign policy. I am ready to help advance an agenda of restoring America’s place in the world. If I am selected, I am prepared and excited to serve.” She praises Biden calling him sincere and being a person who knows how to connect with the American people. He’s a person in her eyes that genuinely loves people instead of tolerating people. She finds him fascinating at how he does his job and treats people. She goes on further, explains why she’s the best fit for this position. Due to her loss in 2018 against Brian Kemp, she believes that should be a part of her qualifications that include being the first woman to lead political parties in Georgia’s General Assembly and the first African American to lead the Georgia House of Representatives. She has done many other things and has reached many other milestones in her career and she may just be a great fit for Biden and this country. What are your thoughts?
