Nicki Minaj approaches a Reporter at the Met Gala Red Carpet 2022

A viral video of Nicki Minaj has been going around the media from the 2022 Met Gala red carpet event. It showcases how Nicki Minaj went off on i reporter stating she’ll “slap the s***” of the reporter and is going viral.

The glamorous annual event that goes on every year was held on Monday night in New York and featured a different range of celebrities wearing extravagant clothing but Minaj's altercation has become the talk of the town.

The theme for this year's 2022 event at The Metropolitan Museum of Art was "Gilded Glamour." Minaj pulled up dressed in all black with dots over her body and face and stylish-looking baseball cap-type headwear. While she walked the red carpet, Minaj spotted someone familiar that she believed she had to confront.

Of course, TikTok posted this entertainment first. Journalist Sharon Carpenter is gaining traction online as she posted audio from Minaj threatening the reporter.

In the video, Minaj can be heard saying, "Hey you. Are you the man that leaked that I was gonna be here?" A voice off-camera can then be heard saying, "Me?"

"Yeah you." Minaj replies, "It was you. About to come up to you and slap the s*** out of you. Come here." The video abruptly cuts off and it's unclear whether the exchange was serious or in a joking manner.
