NFL players allowed to wear names of people who have been affected by police brutality on Helmets

Confirmed report states, the NFL will be permitting players to honor the lost victims due to police brutality with putting names on their helmets as the tribute.

The league will let the players put stickers of victims' names on the helmets such as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Sandra Bland, Ahmaud Arbery and many others that have been horribly killed by police being unarmed and ridiculed by the color of their skin. The NFL states, “Each player will have the option to honor an individual by displaying that person’s name via a decal on the back of their helmet… Players will be offered a list of names and short biographical information to help guide their decision-making, however, they can also select a victim of systemic racism who is not represented on this list.” Despite the tragic ways these victims have died, there is also an option of honoring police officers who have been killed tragically while on duty. It hasn't been confirmed but according to the report, “sounds like it’s going to happen.” The League has always commemorated players and owners who have sadly passed away as well as the “Salute to Service” program in November. With all the bad happening in the world, we salute the NFL for honoring our tragic losses.
