Creating under the moniker Nostalgic Krooks, this dual-threat rapper/singer hailing from the South Bronx has the arts in his genes. Around music by way of studying the moves of his older brother, Krook's dove headfirst into his craft roughly two years ago and has not looked back since. His resume to date includes collaborations with the OG Sheek Louch of the legendary trio The LOX, as well as other D Block affiliates Whispers and Snyp Life not to mention Ricky Bats. Currently working on his new EP Valiente Krooks is diligently laying the groundwork for the establishment of his OfficialLuxuryMusic brand to one day be considered in the upper echelon.
"Outside of music, I love common things: sports, cars, anime, skateboarding and other cool stuff. I'm eclectic."
Krooks accredits his home life as a major influence in his art, "I got into the music industry cause it was honestly apart of my life when it came to doing anything when I say that I mean like jamming while I clean, jamming while I workout and watching my older brothers and family friends hold ciphers in the crib while I was rocking out on Mario Kart." Moved by the melodies that are synonymous with today's music, Krooks began to utilize his natural wordplay. What started as a vibe with his older brother and well-known producer Officialluxurymusic in the studio where he laid some vocals, is now a promising career in the entertainment industry. When hard times hit with the passing of his mom, Krooks leaned on his music for the therapy that he needed.
"Music allowed me to vent and talk about my story for those who relate and encourage them to keep going in whatever they’re doing like I’m doing."
