According to many reports, an unarmed black man in Texas was shot and killed by a white police officer while he was trying to break up a domestic incident that was occurring between a couple that got physical.
That black man, Jonathan Price, 31 year old tried to break up a fight between a couple that turned physical inside of a convenience store, which then led outside.
When the Wolfe City Police arrived on the scene, they shot and killed Price. According to lawyer Lee Merritt and other reports, Price had his hands raised when the officers arrived, but however, Officer Shaun Lucas tased him and then soon after shot him.
This incident happened months after Price posted on his fb that he has never encountered any violent or negative behavior from police. He has actually defended police officers stating he has never had a negative incident in his life involving the police. As of right now, Officer Lucas is on administrative leave.
