Summer walker has been very open about her social anxiety but has made attempts to be more interactive with her fans. Due to her social anxiety, she canceled tour dates so she can continue to be healthy and create better music for her fans. She canceled date appearances in Portland, Memphis, Orlando and many more. She also addressed concerns about her meet and greets with her fans. She stated, “Now for those who’re upset b/c I don’t give hugs IDK what to tell you…I’m an empath, and that transference of energy from that many people each day would KILL me,”. (The source). Social anxiety and other mental disabilities are a lot for anyone especially anew upcoming artist that is thriving in the industry but hopefully, she can become more healthier and continue doing her thing.
