Eric Barrier aka Eric B. was released from jail after being held two weeks behind a17 year warrant. The famous DJ for Rakim went into court in his orange jumpsuit at Bergen County but didn’t stay for long since he paid $5k in old court fines. Back in 2001, police attempted to stop Eric because of a wrong license plate but instead drove on the sidewalk creating a police crash and injuring the officer that tried to stop him. He was only given a fine but Eric and his lawyer had a misunderstanding about if he should appear at court when his lawyer told him he didn’t because he was being put in a special program called a pre-trial intervention. He was then released from Bergen County courtroom but needs to return to court on November 22 to resolve his old case.
