A standout young performer on the gridiron, 13 year old Jaylon McKenzie was considered by Sports Illustrated to be part of a group of "Six Teens Who Will Rule the Future in Sports" was shot in killed in an outburst of gun fire after an 8th grade dance in his hometown Venice, Illinois.
