Rapper Juelz Santana was denied bail Monday by a U.S court magistrate as he faces charges from an arrest earlier this month at Newark airport for carrying a loaded gun and oxycodone pills in his luggage. After the incident, he fled from the airport and eventually turned himself into authorities a few days later and had pleaded “Not guilty” To the weapons charge As he is facing federal and state charges. Due to a prior felony drug conviction, Juelz Santana is legally forbidden from carrying a firearm which can lead to prison time. It was initially reported that the next court date would be April 9th but a report from Juelz lawyer states that a date has not been confirmed as of yet. This could be very detrimental to the artist's career as he was working on a joint mixtape with Lil Wayne which is scheduled to be released sometime this year.
