With New York fashion week in full swing, and the stars being out in abundance, the Cosmo Girls Clam team took advantage of the opportunity to put on a great runway show for an even greater cause as this years soiree highlighted childhood cancer awareness month. In this the 7th year since the mother daughter duo of Valerie and Christina Person has founded the company, they have teamed up with Don Kamelyon Productions and celebrity PR person Marie Driven of Playbook Media Group to put on a remarkable event. The night included scheduled performances Dante Swave, Edith Chische', and Reggie Revels, as well as a surprise performance from Bravo TV’s LeA Robison of the super popular First Family of Hip Hop.

On the runway, some of the city's youngest entrepreneurs such as nine-year-old twins Deyshanel and Deyahana, who are the designers behind the impressive Almondeyezdesigns childrens' wear line; other notable labels included Yaw Boateng from Boyani Collection, Mimmy Yeboah, Sheldon Shirley, and the S. Garvey Collection; gifts for attendees included sponsors: Anu U Mobile Spa, My House Gram, Cup 2 Cake, A20 Water, Empire beauty School, Christopher Michael, The I.V. Doctor, Big O Bundles, Good life Enterprises, and Kpckreationz to name a few.
