BouBoulena battles good and bad in her own way on "East Side" album release

Rapper and producer living in the Lower East Side section of NYC for the past 5 years, Bouboulena is arguably the newest sensation to launch in the Big Apple. Her name deriving from a Grecian woman naval commander "Laskarina Bouboulena" the heroine of Greek independence in 1821. A household name for strength, and female empowerment the name is befitting for this charismatic lioness. A first generation Greek-American Bouboulena was shockingly a tomboy in her youth and today she empowers others to embrace their truth both in identity and reality.

"I feel I am a warrior, a modern day one and my battle is to empower others to be who they are."

Impressing upon others to live life with no fear Bouboulena uses her edgy material as the perfect example of grabbing life by the horns. Her album, East Side, is set with an affirmative pace by the cover art which displays her battle with good and bad. The meticulous back and front covers are representative of the two worlds and is a plan on her once in a lifetime encounter with her neighbors the Hells Angels which changed her life forever.

Symbolism and irony running deep in her music, Bouboulena is candid in all aspects exemplifying authenticity at all costs

"I know I am in the Right place and Doing the right thing by looking at the signs. I connect the dots and nothing has made more sense right now in my whole life. "

A fusion on dance and rap, East Side featured production by Mike Top Notch on her single Strip club in my house" which features C Class as well as Jimmy Song on "PB & The Beat.
