Rémy Martin celebrates National Cognac Day

Rémy Martin celebrated National Cognac Day with a series of events created to bring awareness to their esteemed premium cognac. The celebration kicked off with a fleet of Rémy Martin branded sidecars hitting the streets of NYC. On May 10th, one of the celebrations created to pay homage was hosted by The 5th Column PR and was held at a self-entitled restaurant, Marc Forgione (Celebrity Chef).

As the night developed patrons enjoyed delicious artisanal bites and cognac drinks flowed like the “Sidecar” (classic drink); a simple yet tasty mixture of cognac, orange liquor, and lemon juice. This event solidified why Rémy Martin is one of the leading and oldest cognac distillers in the world. While DJ Kitty Cash spun the latest tunes and had the house rocking, you were able to meet & greet with Executives from Rémy Martin; who were all very welcoming and enthusiastic about the celebration. Needless to say National Cognac Day and Rémy Martin goes together perfectly!

Thank you for inviting Lavish Life Magazine! Until next year folks and remember to “Drink Responsibly”. #NationalCognacDay

About Rémy Martin The House of Rémy Martin will forever be intertwined with the lands of Charente where it was founded in 1724. It is in this small piece of French terroir that our signature blend of Grande and Petite Champagne crus was born, together forming Cognac Fine Champagne. The secret to the most aromatic grapes lies in the soil in which the vines grow. Using fruit from only quality vineyards, the pale and chalky soil of the region provides the ideal conditions to ripen the grapes to perfection.

An excellence cultivated by patience and devotion, the House is a guardian of time. By focusing on the Cognac Fine Champagne, we chose to privilege aging the grapes, allowing them to fully reveal and express their true character. Passed down from generation to generation, this approach has been at the heart of our cognac—extraordinary Eaux-de-vie with a complex palette of rich and unique aromas.-courtesy of Ré
