In an assumed abrupt move, last week Industry veteran L.A. Reid stepped down from his post as the Chairman of Epic Records. With so many questions swirling, it was seen as odd considering his recent success with megastars Future, Travis Scott and DJ Khaled. It has come to light this morning that the move may not have been as voluntarily as we presumed. In a letter written to Sony Music a former female employee has accused Reid of inappropriate behavior. Rumors have it that this is one of multiple accusations against the legendary executive who is represented by Joel Katz, who is at the helm of the Greenberg Traurig Firm’s Global Entertainment & Media arm. Reid's exit comes right as Epic celebrates having the #1 record in the country with DJ Khaled's I'm The One single which is now available.
