A True Hip Hop Culturist: Elus


A Renaissance man, Elus or Kind Genius as he is known is an established contributor to the Hip Hop Culture hailing from the Bronx, New York. A Hip Hop Culturist as a whole Elus has built his resume on hard work and quality output. Credited with songwriting, arranging, production, and engineering Elus has had the pleasure of working with many of the top creators in the NYC market for the better part of the last decade. A professional mix / master Elus has transitioned from the turntables where he was seen as a popular DJ, to the microphone receiving acclaim in both arenas along way. Today Elus is a curator of quality music, working at many of today's premier recording facilities.

Born in the Phillippines (Angeles City, Kent Air Base) Elus has called the Bronx home since the age of 3 years old. Elus' current focus in his forthcoming beat tape which will feature top-tier indie artists as well he is in the final stages of a long awaited follow up solo album as an performing artist.

In the past 2 years Elus has comfortably secured his first National TV placement with his work as the producer for the Filthy Brothers who appeared on Ice & Coco Talk Show, and has engineered recent releases from Pharoah Monche, Joell Ortiz, JR Writer, Hell Rell, Fred The Godson, TRIBORO, Mala Reignz, The Silent Celeb, and Oun P.
